To celebrate the UEFA Cup Final being held at City of Manchester Stadium, Freshfield worked with City’s conference and events team to mastermind the ‘pie-fect’ reception for international footie fans.
Stadium chef, John Benson-Smith created a one-off, bite-sized, Lancashire Hot Pot pie to showcase Manchester’s culinary heritage – creating the perfect football fodder for a post match snack for 1,000 hospitality guests in the ground’s marquee.
The Pie formed the centrepiece of a Manchester hors d’Oeuvres platter which also featured bite sized portion’s of the region’s dishes including; Lancashire Ham and Egg Pie, Manchester Tart and Manchester Eccles Cakes.
Our PR team planned a comprehensive campaign to achieve national and regional coverage in the broadcast and print media for the pie and its creator, John Benson-Smith.

Freshfield has completed its latest branding work for the North West Society of Chartered Accountants, with whom we have been working for four years. The work is for the NWSCA’s 2008 business and accountancy awards, taking place this year at Ribby Hall with over 300 guests in attendance. Our work this time around has been in creating a new logo and branding for the awards launch night, awards entry materials and other competition literature as well as for the big night itself.
This has transformed the perception of the awards from a traditional dinner for accountants into a high-calibre business event, enabling our client to secure sponsorship and attendance from some the region’s major business movers and shakers.

This is our work for salubrious handmade kitchen designer, Ian McLeod.

Our digital team have designed and built a new website for McLeods of Lytham, for whom we also developed a new brand identity. www.mcleodsoflytham.co.uk

We are delighted to have been appointed by Kirkham architecture and urban design practice, Croft Goode and Bolton-based recruitment outfit, AFR Consulting. Croft Goode has appointed Freshfield to devise and implement a regional and trade media awareness campaign, while AFR has tasked Freshfield with building its profile through PR, direct mail and online marketing initiatives.
