‘Helping you get there’ is the new strapline we have created for Blackburn accountancy group, Pierce. Pierce celebrates its 80th birthday in 2009 and we wanted to create a meaningful, friendly and positive support line to remind Pierce’s stakeholders of the qualities and aims of the business. In a competitive and noisy marketplace, this will help Pierce differentiate itself.

Freshfield has completed a Web 2.0 client project – for Preston and Blackburn law firm, Harrison Drury. The social media tool has already enabled the firm to strike up direct online conversation with visitors to the site on a range of legal issues, some of which has already resulted in new clients. Web 2.0, social media, digital PR, or new media – whatever the term used, is transforming the way organisations engage with stakeholders. Are you up to speed? Visit. www.harrison-drury.com

Freshfield mingled with the stars at the 25th Hi-Life Dining Awards at The Hilton, Manchester. The team was busy entertaining the great and good of the dining world together with media guests from across the UK.

Our red carpet photocall attracted national press photographers and included stars from Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, The Bill, The Apprentice and Big Brother, as well as the Hi-Life judging panel – featuring Noddy Holder.

Freshfield secured national and regional media headlines including pieces in The Sun, OK Magazine, Inside Soap, Soap Life, Manchester Evening News, Liverpool Daily Post as well as online at bighospitality.co.uk and citylife.co.uk.
