Christmas pudding ice cream media drop
Dressed rather fetchingly as a giant Christmas pudding, Freshfield’s Laura McLaren escorted Manchester City’s top chef, John Benson-Smith, to media houses across Manchester this Christmas.
The pudding drop featured a dash across the city offering some of John’s Christmas pudding ice cream to journalists at the MEN, Century Radio, X FM, Key 103, Magic, BBC Manchester, Crain’s and The Business Desk.
The ice cream was created as a lighter alternative after a heavy turkey dinner but with all the flavour of the traditional dessert.
After spreading festive cheer to Manchester’s media scene, the duo donated the leftover ice cream to their Man United loving taxi driver. He said it more than made up for all the stick he got driving City’s new signing round – a giant Christmas pud!
