Freshfield kicked off the 2010/11 football season early, coordinating a full press launch for the £1.5m investment in the state of the art, hospitality facilities at Manchester City Football Club. National and regional journalists were escorted to the Stadium in a fleet of branded taxis where they saw a sneak preview of what corporate guests can enjoy next season – from newly refurbished Suites, to heated seats and even blankets and Mancini scarves for those cold Mancunian days.

Over the last 12 months, the consultancy has spearheaded a campaign to raise awareness of City’s unrivalled match day offer, entertaining over 35 journalists last season from The Sun, Daily Mail to Granada TV and more. Freshfield will now implement an innovative ‘Best seat in the house’ campiagn to ensure key decision makers and business people from across the UK are aware of the new and improved matchday offer, driving sales for the start of season.
