Five News captures Preston College’s A-levels success

For the third year running Freshfield secured national TV coverage for Preston College’s A-level results celebrations yesterday.
It was an early morning start to join two featured students at their homes as they shared their nerves and excitement with Five News reporter, Tessa Chapman. Filming continued at the College throughout the morning and was broadcast nationwide on the 5pm and 7pm news bulletins, presented by Matt Barbet and Isla Traquair.
Together with extra footage on GMTV, local radio broadcasts throughout the day and coverage in The Guardian and press titles across Lancashire, the campaign generated an AVE in excess of £60,565 and reached 5.04 million people.
