Mind your manners

21 Wythenshawe school children had to watch their P’s and Q’s this week when hospitality bosses at the City of Manchester Stadium gave them a lesson in etiquette and healthy eating as part of an education initiative.
The class of eleven-year-olds from Brookway High School participated in a morning of fun filled workshops covering everything from the importance of table manners to a balanced diet and food demonstrations from chef, John Benson-Smith. The day was rounded off with the ultimate challenge – laying a three course table setting in the least amount of time.
Freshfield’s leisure PR team played an instrumental part in getting the community relations initiative off the ground, while also securing a raft of coverage in regional and trade media.
