Freshfield has secured a place on a framework to conduct campaigns on behalf of The Government Communication Service as part of a new national consortium.
As a founding partner of The Hyperlocal Everywhere Network with four other agencies, Freshfield will be offering key specialist public relations services to the government department.
The network aims to bring local and regional dimensions to national marketing campaigns using its specially developed approach designed to engage with and mobilise communities.
Freshfield, based in Preston, is collaborating with lead agency Spring, Plinkfizz, The Karol Marketing Group and purplefish who between them will cover the UK regions.
Simon Turner, managing director of Freshfield, said: “This gives us the opportunity to tender for some great national campaigns in the regions and communities where we operate across the north of England.
“Along with our colleagues from the other four agencies, we have a network that can be switched on in any location in the UK with the local knowledge and expertise that will make the difference to clients who want to engage with and understand more about their audiences.”
The Hyperlocal Everywhere Network provides in-depth knowledge and support for clients in its communities, identifying and meeting local needs, connecting with influencers and ensuring engagement with high impact outcomes.
Freshfield works across seven specialist sectors in advanced industries; business and professional services; built environment; education; healthcare; public sector; retail and leisure. The agency has four core divisions operating in public relations; marketing consultancy, branding and design and digital development including search.
