Chief Executive & Group Client Director at Freshfield

Freshfield has strengthened its digital development and marketing capability with the appointment of Andy Butler as digital development consultant.

Andy joins Freshfield from Creativecaravan, a niche Lancashire web design and online marketing company he helped set up in 2011, following nine years working at Piranha Internet in Preston.

The move comes as Freshfield looks to expand its full service offering.

Managing director, Simon Turner, said: “We have seen a real explosion in demand for digital marketing services working in tandem with our other services such as PR and social media. From pay-per click advertising, to websites and e-mail newsletters – digital knowledge and skills are a must for any modern communications consultancy.

“With his substantial experience in web development, digital marketing, search engine optimisation and client relations, Andy will enhance our digital offering to clients. We’ve got a number of exciting projects in the pipeline for him to get his teeth into.”

Andy added: “Freshfield’s strong reputation, commitment to people development and strong client list really appealed to me. Before I started I worked closely with its design team on a number of digital projects and was extremely impressed. We have great potential.”
