Leading Lancashire marketing communications consultancy Freshfield has recruited Andrew Hoskins to join its brand positioning and design team.

Andrew joins the firm as branding and design executive from Warrington-based design agency gtcreate where he worked on print and digital design projects for clients including Places for People, the University of Huddersfield and Leicester City Council.

University of Central Lancashire graduate Andrew is no stranger to Freshfield, having completed a nine month internship at the consultancy whilst studying for his degree in graphic design in 2010-11.

Andrew said: “I’m excited to be part of the team once again and I’ve already enjoyed working on a range of design initiatives. We work closely with our clients and I take great satisfaction in helping to create and define brands.”

Freshfield has made a number of new appointments in the last 12 months across its PR, marketing, design and digital teams.

Freshfield managing director, Simon Turner, said: “Andrew has a real passion for quality work and has experience of working on some major projects. He will make a good addition to the team.”

Freshfield has also launched its new website as it looks to continue its growth in 2014.

Simon added: “We have seen improvements in the economy in 2013. It’s not barn-storming but confidence is growing and this is leading to more opportunities from existing and potential clients.”
