A business which designs and builds specialist generators has chosen Freshfield to deliver a media relations and content marketing programme into its key sectors.

From its base in the Lake District, Multi Source Power (MSP) designs and manufactures hybrid power technology for land and water-based power generation markets including construction, plant hire, mining and marine worldwide.

Freshfield has devised a programme which includes a new, mobile responsive website and the use of both traditional and social media.

Multi Source Power was founded in 2013 by Simon Patterson, an experienced hybrid and electric marine drive train designer. Its hybrid power systems offer clean, lightweight, efficient operation to achieve reduced fuel consumption, reduced carbon footprint and longer lifecycles.

The team at Freshfield will be led by Advanced Industries client director Paul Tustin supported by senior PR executive Laura Wild.

Paul said: “This is the kind of opportunity we relish. MSP is new, offering a real difference to the markets in which it operates using cutting-edge technology with a real story to tell.”

Chief Executive of MSP Simon Patterson said: “We knew it was time to get serious about marketing and Freshfield clearly understand how to reach our audiences and the channels to achieving that.”
