Freshfield shortlisted for 2018 Prolific North awards
Freshfield has gained more recognition for its work with Boost – Lancashire’s £7.8m business growth hub.
The agency’s #GrowingLancashire campaign has been shortlisted for the B2B Marketing / Integrated Communications Campaign category at the Prolific North Awards 2018.
It comes after Freshfield was also shortlisted in three categories at the prestigious PR Moment Awards 2018 for its work on the project.
The #GrowingLancashire campaign has led to Boost receiving 3,500 online or telephone enquiries for support. By tapping into Boost support, 2,400 Lancashire businesses have already created 500 jobs and added over £10m to the county’s economy.
The Prolific North Awards take place at the Principal Hotel, Manchester, on May 24.
Simon Turner, managing director of Freshfield, said: “It’s been a truly integrated campaign and has delivered a tangible increase in business growth and economic activity in the region.
“We’re going up against some very impressive campaigns and agencies at the Prolific North Awards, so it’s great to have our success recognised by our peers in the marketing industry.”
Boost is led by the Lancashire LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership) and Lancashire County Council, and supported by funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
It aims to support ambitious businesses in Lancashire, offering support in areas such as business mentoring, business planning, access to finance, skills development, export advice, innovation and productivity.
Prolific North is an independently-owned publishing and events company based in Manchester. Launching in January 2013, it is now established as the leading news and events hub for the media, marketing and creative sector in the North.
