Freshfield has been shortlisted in three categories at the prestigious PR Moment Awards 2018.

We’ve bagged a hattrick of nominations for our #GrowingLancashire campaign on behalf of Boost, Lancashire £7.8m business growth hub.

The campaign has led to Boost receiving 3,500 online or telephone enquiries for support. By tapping into Boost support, 2,400 Lancashire businesses have already created 500 jobs and added over £10m to the county’s economy.

We’ve been shortlisted in the Integrated Campaign, Public Sector Campaign, and B2B Campaign categories at the awards which take place at the Principal Hotel, Manchester, on April 26.

Simon Turner, managing director of Freshfield, said: “This campaign was all about showing the quality of the support on offer, differentiating Boost from generic public-sector business support initiatives.

“It was also about capturing the imagination of ambitious business owners who might otherwise be too busy to apply for public-sector support.

“It’s been a truly integrated campaign and it’s delivered a tangible increase in business growth and economic activity in the region. It’s great to have this success recognised by our peers in the PR and marketing industry.”

Boost is led by the Lancashire LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership) and Lancashire County Council, and supported by funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

It aims to support ambitious businesses in Lancashire, offering support in areas such as business mentoring, business planning, access to finance, skills development, export advice, innovation and productivity.
