Robotics campaign puts Freshfield on shortlist
A campaign devised by Lancashire-based marketing consultancy, Freshfield, to raise awareness of robotics and autonomous systems in the UK has been shortlisted for a prestigious PR industry award.
The programme from Freshfield – Bringing the Northern Robotics Network to Life – has been shortlisted in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) category of the CIPR PRide Awards – organised by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
Live national broadcast TV and radio, along with online, social media and video were used to bring home the messages on behalf of the North West Aerospace Alliance and partner organisations.
Live interviews were broadcast from the launch of the Northern Robotics Network at MediaCityUK, Salford, on BBC Breakfast, Sky News BBC North West Tonight, Granada Reports and BBC Radio 5Live.
Paul Tustin, client director at Freshfield, said: “It’s satisfying to be recognised at the highest industry level for the work we’re doing for our clients, and that the full range of our skill sets can be brought to bear in support of a national business initiative such as this.”
The CIPR PRide Awards recognise outstanding work from public relations consultancies and individuals and aims to highlight the value of PR to the wider business community.
