Freshfield provides a full range of marketing communications to public sector business support organisations, including multi-million-pound programmes led by local authorities and their partners.

For example, Freshfield has been the marketing communications partner for Boost; Lancashire’s £6m Business Growth Hub since 2013.

Boost is led by Lancashire County Council and the Lancashire LEP and has supported over 8,000 businesses since its inception, adding £100m to the Lancashire economy.

Reporting to Lancashire County Council and managing strict ERDF guidelines, Freshfield plays a lead role in the marketing of the Growth Hub.

We helped devise the #AskForHelp campaign in response to the global pandemic. This campaign engaged with 7,000 people in business during the pandemic and won a 2020 Northern Marketing Award.

Prior to Growth Hubs being established in 2011, Freshfield was the PR and communications partner to Business Link North West.
