Inward investment

Freshfield has experience of working with local authorities on creating marketing and communications strategies for major inward investment campaigns and placemaking projects.

We’ve worked with partners including Lancashire County Council, Preston City Council and Marketing Lancashire.

Our work includes the creation of the name and visual identity for Lancashire’s Enterprise Zones.

This complex project included consultation across multiple local political parties, placemaking boards and some of the region’s largest employers to develop the final strategy.

We followed a similar strategic path to create the Invest Central Lancashire brand, which is the external verbal and visual identity for Lancashire’s £434m City Deal project. This was launched to the North West’s placemaking community at a major event.
