London-based affordable housing developer V10 turned to Freshfield to help it build greater engagement with registered providers, landowners, and contractors, as well as the wider property community.
Our initial Fresh Eyes session helped to discover the personal and professional values of V10’s management team, as well as the transformative impact that V10 can have on people’s lives. We also discovered how the company’s new focus on sustainable building techniques was helping clients in the affordable housing sector to embrace modern methods of construction.
The Fresh Eyes sessions ultimately led to a brand repositioning exercise in which we helped V10 create a new verbal identity that enabled audiences to better understand how it could help them. Together, we arrived at a new tagline – Creating Homes, Changing Lives – while a subtle change in the brand colour palette helped to reflect the social, environmental and economic impact V10 has on communities.
We then created a new website for V10 which helped its core audiences better understand the role the company plays in developing new affordable homes. The website was launched to coincide with V10’s attendance at the annual CIH Housing conference in Brighton.
Since the new website went live, we have helped V10 to continue to connect with audiences through an ongoing e-mail marketing campaign, keeping its clients, contractors and professional contacts up to date with project news and thought leadership content.
As a result of this project, V10 has reported greater engagement with registered providers in the housing arena and more land opportunities coming its way.
