Summit To Eat is a new outdoor food brand brought to the market by European Freeze Dry, which has built a market leading position since it launched in 1964.
When developing the new brand, research was undertaken among its customers. In addition to Summit To Eat being an enabler – something that would help them achieve their outdoor pursuits – the product had to be positioned as practical while resonating with their customers’ values.
The brand and packaging was designed to give it clear stand out.
We chose yellow as a key brand colour as it has many positive values. It’s the colour of new ideas, it’s uplifting, illuminating and helps create enthusiasm for life. It also had a practical function that the product can be easily found in low light, important in outdoor situations.
