A trusted PR and communications partner to Manchester businesses
Based in Manchester’s creative St John’s District at Bonded Warehouse, Freshfield works with established and ambitious businesses across the city region. We are a long-term PR and communications partner to organisations operating in the professional and financial services, property and regeneration, and related sectors that play a key role in Greater Manchester’s economy.
Our Manchester client experience includes Bolton at Home, Brabners, MHA, IGE Consulting, CN Strategic Advisers, Russell Bolton, Stanley Land and Homes and WHN Solicitors. We work closely with leadership teams to provide practical, insight-led communications advice that supports organisational objectives.

Strategic PR and communications expertise
Our Manchester PR and communications team brings together experienced PR consultants, former business journalists and digital PR specialists, enabling us to deliver integrated communications programmes that create measurable impact.
We develop clear, focussed communications strategies aligned to business goals, supporting both growing organisations and established brands. Our work includes growing businesses and brand-building PR campaigns, designed to help businesses differentiate themselves, build credibility and reach the audiences that matter most.
With former business journalists in our team, we maintain strong relationships with regional, sector and national journalists, allowing us to secure consistent, high value coverage. We also advise on M&A communications, helping clients manage messaging and stakeholder engagement during complex and important transactions.
Alongside this, we support organisations with ESG communications, employee communications through periods of change, and crisis and issues to protect reputation when it matters most.
Drawing on decades of sector experience, we bring fresh eyes and commercial focus to every brief.

In the heart of the Manchester community
Freshfield is embedded in Manchester business community. We are an active member of pro-manchester, the largest business development and networking organisation in Greater Manchester, representing more than 300 organisations across diverse sectors, including financial and professional services.
Our lead designer, Rhys Leeds, supports Manchester-based Plant Co-operative, a not-for-profit urban gardening collective founded in 2021. Plant works with developers, the city council, charities and local businesses to regenerate neglected city-centre spaces and create greener, more sustainable, urban environments.
