Freshfield has been shortlisted in the ‘B2B campaign of the year’ category at this year’s Northern Marketing Awards (NMA).

Freshfield’s campaign alongside Lancashire County Council for the £7.2million Lancashire Business Growth Hub (Boost Business Lancashire), was whittled down from almost 190 NMA entries to secure its place on the shortlist.

The Northern Marketing Awards, now in its second year, celebrates excellence in marketing communications across the North of England. The North’s leading communications teams, consultancies and individuals are recognised across 20 sectors and categories including retail, sport, low budget, not-for-profit, B2B and B2C.

Freshfield’s ‘start the growth conversation’ campaign for Boost Business Lancashire has also been shortlisted in the Integrated, Corporate & Business, and Public Sector categories at the 2014 CIPR PRide awards.

Simon Turner, managing director at Freshfield, said: “It’s good news for the campaign to be shortlisted and recognised for its success but winning the award would be a brilliant achievement given the calibre of brands involved.”

The results will be announced at the Northern Marketing Awards ceremony on October 16 at The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club in Manchester.
