Freshfield has been shortlisted for three categories in the UK’s premier PR awards programme.

Freshfield’s current campaign for the £7.2million Lancashire Business Growth Hub (Boost Business Lancashire), has been nominated for the Integrated, Corporate & Business, and Public Sector campaigns of the year at the 2014 CIPR PRide Awards.

More than 350 of the UK’s leading public relations teams, consultancies and individuals have made the shortlists for the awards which recognises excellence in public relations and communications work across Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and six English regions.

Further details of Freshfield’s campaign for Boost can be found in our work highlights section here.

Simon Turner, managing director of Freshfield, said: “It’s been a challenging yet exciting project with some very clear KPIs – ultimately getting businesses signed up to the programme.

“Boost signed up its 1,000th business in June and it’s rewarding to see so many businesses benefiting from public sector business support.

“The partnership between Lancashire County Council, the delivery partners and Freshfield has been excellent. They have set the bar high, listened to our advice, and the Freshfield team has done a great job in establishing a start-up brand, successfully engaging with the business community.”

“We are always looking to benchmark our work and it’s good recognition to be shortlisted but it would be a great achievement to win an award.”

The results will be announced in November.
