Our brief

Freshfield was briefed to support Everfield in announcing several acquisitions in the UK, helping to grow its profile with key stakeholder groups, including potential companies to join its growing ecosystem and the professional and financial services community.

What we delivered

Freshfield worked with Everfield’s UK and Ireland acquisitions team, communications lead, and companies joining the ecosystem to agree the messaging for two UK acquisitions. Our team led on the development of a media relations strategy, including writing of news releases, media research and liaising with journalists to secure media coverage.

Impact

There were almost 70,000 online coverage views in relation to acquisitions, thanks to news stories that appeared in priority target media in the software, tech, regional news and private equity sectors. The content also supported these ecosystem companies to communicate with their own audiences, and Freshfield encouraged the professional advisors involved in the transactions to share the news with their stakeholders via their owned channels.
