Our brief
Freshfield was asked to position AEI Cables as a leader in key sectors, primarily the fire protection industry where legislation has been changing to add further safety for residents and those moving around in large buildings.
What we delivered
This campaign was designed to heighten awareness of new legislation issued by standards authorities and the government, an area where AEI Cables continues to lead with its guidance and expertise for the industry and the wider built environment community.
Freshfield devised a campaign which focused on protecting lives through the use of quality cabling which enables fire and rescue teams to evacuate people in the event of a real fire.
Support has come from MPs, the Institute of Fire Engineers and the Electrical Safety First organisation to help build the reputation of AEI Cables as an authority in its specialist field.
Impact
The campaign by Freshfield has centred on trade media to help educate the supply chain in the use of relevant cabling and the importance it plays in electrical supply and safety.
UK and European media have consistently covered the stories issued by Freshfield, also used in social media and on industry websites.
