Freshfield has strengthened its PR team with the appointment of Emma Booth as a PR account manager.

Emma, who joins from Lytham-based Stage9 Marketing, has previously worked with a wide range of businesses and brands, including Tesco, Super-Click Flooring, Sofrito Restaurants, and Marsden Rawsthorn Solicitors.

Emma has also worked in PR and communications roles for Freedman Brown Communications and Preston’s Cardinal Newman College, as well as a stint in journalism.

For Freshfield, Emma will be working on a range of business-to-consumer and business-to-business programmes.

Emma said: “Freshfield has an excellent reputation in the region with track record for delivering outstanding results for its clients. I’m delighted to be joining the team.”

Freshfield managing director, Simon Turner, said: “Emma’s appointment fits with our drive to recruit experienced people. She has a track record of working with national brands, outstanding media relations skills, creativity, and a depth of knowledge in online PR. We’re pleased to have her on board.”

In 2010, Freshfield became the first consultancy in Lancashire to join the PRCA (Public Relations Consultants Association), gaining the PRCA’s coveted Consultancy Management Standard accreditation in record time.
